The man in this photo has a new chance of life which he never thought he’d have and it’s all down to the pioneering work of Professor Charlie Craddock and his team of clinical nurses who carry out the drug trials and save lives.
The funds we’re raising by cycling a gruelling 21 stages of the Tour de France in blistering heat over the next few weeks will be used to employ more nurses, deliver more drug trials and simply put, save more lives.
